The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Pensacola State College along with several partners support several entrepreneurial initiatives as an economic development strategy.  CIE is one of our key tools to support entrepreneurial development in our region along with the following resources:

iTen Wired: Connecting Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurs
iTen Wired was initiated by the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce (Escambia County) in concert with its regional economic development partners in Mobile, Baldwin, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties. The primary goal of iTen Wired is to remain competitive in the global economy by embracing the innovation of entrepreneurs across our region. The innovation efforts of iTen Wired are centered around technology driven entrepreneurship and focuses on bringing people and ideas together across our 5 county region.

iTen Wired Angel Forums
This event is a one-on-one opportunity to make a business plan presentation to a group of regional angel investors. Each Entrepreneur who qualifies will get 15 to 30 minutes, including Q & A, to present their elevator pitch and business plan for capital.

Friends of the CIE
Friends of the CIE are successful entrepreneurs, local business leaders, and advisory service providers. They offer top tier services to support early-stage companies including marketing, legal, accounting, and financial reviews; as well as advisory services to assist companies with their growth needs. This includes the development of goals and benchmarks, finances, business planning, advisory boards, etc. Continued services are provided through various corporate “friends” at discounted rates.
